Nuon’s website had a complex financial structure that was hard to understand. Important trust signals and data were hidden in dense text, which confused users. They also had trouble integrating real-time dashboards and charts without slowing down the site. On mobile, the interactive components didn’t work well, and people didn’t trust the site because it’s a crypto product.
The client wanted to simplify Nuon’s complex DeFi mechanics so that even non-technical users could understand and engage with the platform. They aimed to display real-time data transparently, including live yield and minting stats, while keeping the site fast and smooth to use. Another top priority was building trust, especially by clearly communicating security features and risk management strategies, to encourage adoption.
To make the experience easier to navigate, I built a modular UI system in Webflow with "Learn More" toggle sections that revealed detailed explanations without overwhelming users. Tooltips and animated micro-interactions helped break down tricky terms like "Truflation APY." I also created a dashboard using Webflow’s CMS to show real-time protocol yield data (like Curve, IPOR, and Morpho), all without custom code.
For the technical side, I embedded the minting interface using Webflow’s Custom Code blocks and wrapped them in responsive containers to ensure mobile-friendliness. The APY tracker was built using CMS API data and displayed cleanly across devices. I also swapped out heavy PNG charts for lightweight SVG animations and used conditional loading so big elements only load when visible.
To earn user trust, I added a sticky security ribbon showing encryption and audit badges, and built a CMS-powered FAQ section to address common concerns. I also designed visual infographics comparing Nuon and the U.S. dollar to highlight its inflation-proof advantage.
After launch, Nuon saw a 27% increase in minting actions, thanks to clearer calls-to-action and smoother user flow. The average load time improved dramatically from 4.8 seconds to just 2.3 seconds all thanks to performance upgrades. The redesign was even featured in fintech newsletters for its clean and approachable DeFi user experience.
We knew our product was complex, but Sufyan made it feel simple. The new site not only looks great but it explains what we do in a way that actually connects with people. Our minting numbers went up, and users finally ‘get’ Nuon.
